Hello all, my name is Celeste, I’m Alice’s mother. I thought it would be nice to start each week with a card for you. This card will represent the upcoming week and the energies surrounding us. Read into the words and image what you will, but don’t take it too seriously, it’s meant as a dream and of course a bit of fun!

So, this week, The Moon. One of the Major Arcana.
This card shows us the intoxicating, sometimes frightening other world of our dreams. It gives us a peek behind the veil of life. Some people find this place and this card scary and disorientating, but I think if you can embrace that sexy feeling of being lost you are likely to find your way!
The Moon card represents, dreams, navigation through our dreams and paying attention to our instincts. I like to think that the buildings represent our slumbering lives and the moon is lighting the pathway through them. The dogs can be read to signify our animal instincts. Dogs are very good at picking up on peoples emotions and will always follow their gut instincts in the situations they find themselves in and with the other beings they find themselves with. At their worst, the dogs are seen as wolves, drunk on the madness of the Luna orb. They run wild and free. I say at their worst but if you are the wolf the energy is one that can be harnessed and used to navigate the darkness and show you the enjoyment of this freedom.
The water and lobster at the bottom of the image represent the water signs. It’s a good time for those of you with the star signs: Pisces; Cancer and Scorpio. Pisces especially is represented here as The Moon is Pisces ruling body. Wether you water signs feel at home in the realms of the imagination or not you have an active psychic and creative life and should embrace these skills.
The path through this picture takes us over a rocky, mountainous landscape and just like the topography suggests it can be tricky to listen to what your sub-concious is telling you and the light of the moon isn’t as bright as the light of the sun, so you may find you are not seeing your situation clearly, trust yourself!
Actively keep on top of your daily life as this card can mean this will become difficult. But there’s nothing to fear if you have exams or deadlines or important responsibilities this week as long as you consciously make sure to keep on top of things. In fact The Moon brings with it creativity so make use of the extra inspiration the card is offering to you. You will probably find it extra rewarding going to the theatre, films, art exhibitions anything that stimulates your creative side.
Those of you who work in the entertainment or creative industries will find this week particularly fruitful. (Alice get some writing done!!)
The Moon is a beautiful heavenly body and I urge you all to go out for a stroll one night this week with a loved one and bask in it’s glory!
